ESONET has produced an educational game tailored toward use by class groups between 8 and 13 yrs old.
The aim of the game is to introduce Ocean Science to classes in a fun way, and to promote active discussion within and between groups.
Players get to plan a year long surveying campaign on a limited budget, and get scientific results determined by their survey plans. They then get the chance to answer some questions...
The game has been tailored to fit the UK national curriculum but is applicable for most classrooms.
